A study has looked at more than 20,000 Google reviews to assess which destinations are the most picturesque
Sure, a vineyard’s sole purpose is to be an efficient and profitable place to produce wine, but the high altitudes among gorgeous hills, often blessed with a warm, sunny climate, means that excellent grape-growing and natural beauty often go hand in hand.
And some parts of Europe are absolutely overflowing with vineyards. But if you’re heading to sample some wine and snap some pics for the ‘gram, which destination is the best? Well, ferry operator DFDS has analysed a whopping 20,000 Google reviews in search of words such as ‘beautiful’, ‘picturesque’ and ‘scenic’, and each one has been assigned a beauty score.
