We produce the exquisite, award-winning wines with the same love and attention as one would for the wines produced solely for personal use, driven more by consideration of quality and excellence than by the strive for commercial gain. Our wines are cared for in a unique, meticolous way, with an ecofriendly approach from the field to the cellar.
Poggio del Moro Style
From 2015, we have started a new research – to discover and to isolate our grapes’ microflora: yeast directly from a grape skin, saccharomyces and non-saccaromyces to let them “create” our wines. Our task is not to use ambient yeasts, but to us the yeast directly from our vineyards! Yeasts are the major factor in winemaking; they are ones who are doing the job. The target of our research is to descrive our grapes’ microfolora (microorganisms), to multiply the yeasts and to let them ferment our musts. This is the real natural expression of our terroir! Our passion, knowledge, attention and love are the best way to define Poggio del Moro Style.
