Poggio del Moro and “Women of Wine”: a new exciting adventure!
In fact, you have to know that our Boutique Winery officially became part of this prestigious association, since 17 January.
How? Well, simple: thanks to our Wine Maker for excellence, Tania, who has received the opportunity to join this important family. Young, determined, ambitious, capable of achieving remarkable results in the world of wine after only ten years of activity: characteristics that make it the ideal profile for the association.
So, at Villa Le Corti in San Casciano di Pesa, at the presence of President Donatella Cinelli Colombini and Maria Julia Frova (Delegate for Women of Wine – Tuscany) Tania expressed her happiness for this new professional stage:
“I’m really happy – his first words as a new associate – to be part of this project and to be able to compare myself with so many wonderful women who, every day, make their voices strongly felt in an activity that is not easy “.
But what exactly is Women of Wine? It is the largest and most active worldwide women’s association in the wine sector and, in Italy, has opened the way to other women’s associations engaged in other economic sectors with a format based on the inclusion of the entire supply chain, from those who produce grapes to those who write , sells, serves the bottles.
The goal of Le Donne del Vino is to spread the culture and knowledge of wine through the training and enhancement of the role of the entrepreneur Woman in the wine and enotourist sectors.
The guiding principles of the National Association of Women of Wine are: respect for the consumer, the protection of the landscape, the search for naturalness, education for moderation, the promotion of knowledge of wine and its use as a component of the correct dite,
awareness of the ethical and hedonistic value of food, constant professional and technical updating and communication and promotion of events intended to focus the attention of the consumer on various issues in which the association is involved.
